'Dissected With A Sledge Hammer' isn't good enough, Gore - it should be 'Fucking Shredded in a Gore Mincer' - and the word 'Shred' can open up a shred solo!!

Nevertheless, fucking awesome song Gore. I really like this one, and your style never gets boring (although somewhere along the lines, what I've just said might confuse you).

Anyway, this song was just some random shit I came up with in less than 30 minutes. I don't like it too much myself, I just wanted to record something though. I've got some cool songs ready to record though, I just need a better computer, and more time!

I liked it.

I like it, but it's too computerised - You didn't play any of the instruments.

Originality - 7/10 - I've heard so many Fruityloops metal songs, but this is a little better than the others I've heard.

Clarity - 8/10 - Drums are a little too loud, or guitars are too quiet. I also think FL guitars are too fuzzy.

Diversity - 7/10 - Like I said, I like the song, but there are about 4 riffs that keep repeating each other over and over again.

Effort - 4/10 - The music has a lotta thought, but you didn't play any of the instruments - it was all computerised.

Overall - 7/10 - It's good, but too computerised. I would give it 10/10 if you played at least 1 of the instruments.

Don't be angry with my rating, it's constructive and fair.

Ok, In answer to your point about me not playing any of the instruments myself: I would have played the drum parts if I had £2000 to spare to buy an electronic kit, unfortunately, I'm only 17, and could barely afford my acoustic drums. I think effort deserves a little higher than 4, maybe not much higher, but hey - it was made in an hour or so.
Also, keep in mind that this is only my 2nd song created with FL. I am still learning and in time I will hopefully be able to take into account your points about over-computerisation, and when I have £2000 to spare, then yes, I will play the drum parts myself, although, some of the instrumental parts that are easy to create in FL are impossible for any rank of professional to play normally.
One final point: The main idea of me owning FL 5 is so that I can try out sequencing and phrasing of songs, and thus integrate that with my own band.
Thanks for your review, I'll think about your points, please do me the same courtesy and think about mine.

Great to see you've submitted something new. Don't pay attention to 0-voters, too - they've recently fuckin bombed my stuff off page 1.

This kicks arse, as usual, but maybe consider doing something a little different next time. All this metal-to-the-bone stuff is brilliant, awesome shit, but this is always expected of you from me. I know your songs are completely different from each other, but listening closely - they're a bit samey - I don't really know how to do something a little different....aaaahhh fucking forget it. I love this shit. It keeps Newgrounds alive in my opinion, along with the other cool artists (you know who you are!).

So, well done, another fucken cool song. Jolly good job.

Cheers mate. I know what you mean about them having the same kind of sound. It's called the GoreBastard effect!

It's because I use powerchords all of the time. They just sound so damn cool! Maybe I should do some more mellow tunes, like Flowing Carpet. Actually, I have some cool riffs made up for a mellow track.

I'm not back for good though, this could be the last GoreBastard track because I've been asked to audition for rhythm guitar by a band called "Recluse". Im going on Sunday to show them what I can do, after Saturday, which is sex day.

If it doesn't work out, I'll submit a few more, and wait for the next band to come along.

It's alright.

Ehm, this is okay, but would have been much better with real instruments. Computer instruments just can't make a good metal song.

So, for the song idea (brilliant riff ideas), 5/5, for the computer instruments, -2/5...that's means I will vote 3 for this. Sorry Dood.

This song baloody kicks ass. Awesome stuff. It's just the guitars are a little too distorted. Cool fucking song though, I love it.
